JOIN OUR LATEST WEEKDAY ADULT FAITH FORMATION GROUP as we learn from renowned speaker and author Fr. Michael Gaitley who will be our guide through the dramatic history of God's love and mercy as interwoven through the transformative message of St. Faustina, the miraculous appearance of Mary at Fatima, the witness of Maximilian Kolbe, and the world-changing papacy of Pope St. John Paul II. Following each 20 minute presentation, reflection pages and small group discussion will help us go deeper into this extraordinary topic. Thomas Smith is a parishioner at Holy Spirit Catholic Community, a mission speaker, retreat leader, and conference speaker. He has authored Bible studies used in over 8,000 parishes, including Revelation: The Kingdom Yet to Come; Prophets: Messengers of God’s Mercy; Ephesians: Discovering Your Inheritance, Wisdom: God’s Vision for Life. Thomas also served as the Director of the Denver Catholic Biblical School (the oldest and largest school of its kind in the world) and the Denver Catholic Catechetical School. Additionally, he was adjunct professor of Scripture at the St. Francis School of Theology.
He joined Holy Spirit Catholic Community staff in 2019 as Pastoral Associate for Faith Formation and Evangelization. He holds a degree in Philosophy from Regis University, and the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome. He did his later graduate studies at St. John Vianney Theological Seminary in Denver where he spent six years in formation.
